Customs Declaration Service submissions via HMRC's current platform
The Customs Declaration Service (CDS) is HMRC's current platform for all UK import and export declarations. It replaced the legacy CHIEF system and is now the only way to submit UK customs declarations.
All our declarations — import, export and transit — are submitted through CDS. If your business has historically used a third-party agent operating on the old CHIEF platform, or if you are setting up CDS access for the first time, we can help you get your CDS account configured and your declarations submitted correctly from day one.
