ATA Carnets

International customs documents for temporary export of goods

An ATA Carnet is an international customs document that allows you to temporarily export goods — such as trade show samples, professional equipment or film production gear — to over 87 countries without paying import duties or VAT at the destination.

The Carnet replaces the import and export declarations at each border crossing for the duration of the temporary export, provided the goods are returned within the validity period (typically 12 months). We prepare and process ATA Carnets through the London Chamber of Commerce, ensuring your documentation is correct before you travel.

How It Works

  1. 1Provide a detailed goods list with values, weights and descriptions
  2. 2We prepare the Carnet application and submit to the issuing body
  3. 3Carnet issued — we brief you on how to use it at each border
  4. 4Goods returned — we process the discharge of the Carnet on your behalf
