Any unit over 9ft 6in wide is classed as abnormal in the UK and requires an escort vehicle. For twin-unit lodges (each half typically 12ft to 16ft wide) and the widest park homes, escorts are not optional — they're a legal requirement.
Our escort vehicles carry the correct lighting, signage and communications equipment, and our drivers liaise with police forces along the route. We can provide escort as part of a transport package or as a standalone service for hauliers handling their own move.
